Broward Avian & Exotic Animal Clinic Broward Avian & Exotic Animal Clinic is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our privately owned, avian and exotic-exclusive practice. We are passionate about delivering top-tier care for a diverse range of species and are expanding from a two-doctor team to four, following our recent move into a custom-designed, 8,000 sq ft facility. Job Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive examinations and diagnostics for a wide variety of exotic species. Create and implement treatment plans, perform surgeries, and provide emergency care as needed. Educate clients on proper husbandry, nutrition, and preventive care. Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with veterinary standards. Collaborate with technicians and support staff to ensure the highest level of care. Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through CE and ongoing education. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited institution. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Eligible for Florida veterinary licensure. Strong foundation in exotic animal anatomy, physiology, and medicine. Experience with exotic species is highly valued, but not required—new grads are encouraged to apply! Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
