Full Job Description About Us:

Animal Wellness Center of Bonita is a well-established (2010), privately owned, small animal clinic in the heart of beautiful Bonita Springs, FL. Our clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate veterinary care to the pets of our community. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for both clients and staff, with a focus on work-life balance, continuing education, and professional growth.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent care to our patients and building lasting relationships with their owners. Priority will be given to a candidate with post-degree training (internship, residency) as well as those with ≥3 years of small animal practice experience. New graduates are welcome to apply, and we offer mentorship to help you grow and succeed in your veterinary career. In clinic we have access to a board-certified internal medicine specialist for imaging (ultrasound, echocardiography) and consultation as well as a board-certified small animal surgeon. We employ telemedicine for radiology reads as well as for EKG diagnosis. We collaborate with our multiple, emergency and speciality hospitals and look to them as an extension to provide additional needed care for our patients.

Qualifications:

DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school Active veterinary license in the state of Florida, or ability to obtain one Strong communication and interpersonal skills A passion for providing exceptional patient care Ability to work collaboratively with our team USDA Accreditation in

Florida Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality medical, surgical, dental and preventive care to small animals Perform routine surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostic tests Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and compassionate care Maintain accurate medical records Work collaboratively with our team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for our patients Stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and advancements
