Associate Veterinarian DeSoto Animal Clinic 2910 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, FL 34205 Associate Veterinarian- DeSoto Animal Clinic Job Location- 2910 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida, 34205 We are currently seeking a full-time Florida Licensed Associate Veterinarian in Southwest Florida to join our skilled team of veterinarians and staff. We are looking for a individual who is striving to provide quality and compassionate medicine to our patients. This role involves diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on proper care practices. We are a privately owned multi-doctor practice. We employ five Certified Veterinary Technicians with many veterinary assistants, and a full administrative staff, roughly 25 employees. Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution Valid Florida veterinary license to practice Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology, as well as veterinary critical care practices Experience in dog handling and animal restraint techniques Proficiency in laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with pet owners and team members A compassionate approach towards animal care and a commitment to providing the highest standard of service What we have to offer A new, large, state of the art facility that offers ten exam rooms, a large treatment area, a pharmacy, a digital radiology room and ultrasound, Idexx lab equipment, therapeutic LASER, a fully equipped surgical suite including a CO2 surgical LASER, as well as a separate dental suite Compensation is based on production with full-time doctors earning $140,000 to $210,000 per year. Pro-Sal is also an option without negative accrual.
