- Tuesday-Saturday | 8:00 AM
- 5:00 PM The Lois Pope Pet Clinic , located on the campus of Tri-County Animal Rescue , is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in a general practice role — with no surgical responsibilities .
This is an incredible opportunity to make a real impact by providing high-quality, low-cost care to the pets of our community, shelter animals, and rescue partners in a state-of-the-art facility . Our mission is to ensure no pet goes without medical care due to financial hardship.
What You’ll Do:
Perform routine wellness exams, diagnostics, and preventative care Develop treatment plans and educate pet owners with compassion and clarity Work closely with veterinary technicians and shelter staff to deliver high-quality patient care Provide medical oversight for shelter animals as needed
What We’re Looking For:
DVM or equivalent degree and a valid Florida veterinary license At least 1 year of experience in general practice preferred (new grads welcome with strong mentorship available) Passion for shelter medicine, preventative care, and community impact Excellent communication and client service skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
