Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals, ensuring a thorough understanding of their health status. Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions. Provide preventive care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness exams. Perform surgeries and dental procedures with precision and compassion. Educate and communicate effectively with clients about their pets’ health, treatment plans, and preventive care. Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
Ideal Candidate:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution. Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Florida. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing veterinarian, although new graduates are welcome to apply. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and team members.
