Lead Veterinarian:
Medical Care :
Diagnose, treat, and perform surgeries on animals, ensuring their well-being and health.
Team Leadership :
Supervise and support the veterinary team, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
Client Communication :
Consult with clients about pet health, answer questions, and address concerns.
Staff Training :
Mentor team members and participate in the hospital’s LevelUp training program to foster growth and development.
Medical Oversight :
Oversee all patient care, acting as the veterinarian of record for necessary permits and licenses.
Collaboration :
Work with the Practice Manager and Regional Medical Director to set and maintain medical standards across the practice.
Qualifications:
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution or successful completion of the
ECFVG/PAVE
program. 5+ years of veterinary experience , with leadership or management experience preferred. Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment, and surgery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and interact with both staff and clients. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Active or eligible license in good standing to practice in Georgia.
