Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any conditions. Administer vaccinations and medications as needed. Perform surgical procedures with precision and care. Provide emergency veterinary care for critical cases. Utilize veterinary terminology accurately in communication with staff and clients. Maintain accurate medical records for all patients. Educate pet owners on animal anatomy, physiology, and proper care techniques. Implement aseptic techniques during surgical procedures to prevent infection. Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Experience:
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy knowledge. Experience in animal catheterization procedures. Proficiency in veterinary critical care techniques. Demonstrated ability in animal handling skills to ensure safety for both the animals and the team.
