Louis, MO Area Salary:
Base Salary + Commission, expected total compensation range is approximately $120,000 to $165,000 per year.

Liability coverage Veterinary and Controlled substance licenses paid for by the organization Terrific Veterinary Surgeon position with the Animal Medical Center of Mid-America in the St. Louis area. The position will provide procedures and services to public clients and the Humane Society shelter, offering a wide variety of veterinary services.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely and professional veterinary services Manage a caseload of daily procedures including high volume spay and neuters, as well as other soft tissue and orthopedic procedures Collaborate with other clinicians, surgeons, and staff members Direct staff members providing assistance with procedures Handle procedures for direct clients and for HSMO animals prior to adoptions
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university is required MO veterinary license and DEA controlled substances license in good standing, or eligible to obtain Approximately 7-10+ years of experience, open to candidates that are coming out of a residency Track record of revenue generation in a clinical setting Respect for clients and their pets Experience with eVet or similar software Ability to make decisions and direct staff as needed Uphold the veterinary code of ethics Maintain collaboration with other clinicians and staff Equal opportunity employer.
