Beyond the state-of-the-art medical facility, the Sound Cat team provides various feline-only wellness, surgical, diagnostic, and specialty veterinary services. We are AAHA accredited meaning our practice coincides with the highest standards of veterinary medicine. Our hospital is spacious, well maintained, and always equipped to provide patients with the best wellness, diagnostic, and surgical care. Everyday we utilize equipment such as: Digital radiology Ultrasound Full in-house laboratory Surgical suite with laser equipment, anesthesia system, and heating system Dental suite
Tonopen and Digital Retinal Imaging Endoscopy and Rhinoscopy Position Purpose:
We are adding another veterinarian to our team! Our team of multiple DVMs, licensed veterinary technicians, assistants, and receptionists eagerly welcome another team member with opens arms. Come practice with us along the beautiful Atlantic Coast. We welcome any veterinarians looking to join an exemplary practice with a passionate and tight-knit staff. For any new or recent graduates, we are happy to provide individualized and structured mentorship. If you have previous experience with radioactive iodine, there is high demand at our practice. We will have a clientele base ready for you and your services! Here any DVM will be able to nourish and display their veterinary skills to the highest form!

Essential Responsibilities:
Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries. Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results. Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options. Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed. Provide counsel around pet end of life care. Maintain patients’ medical records. Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution. Appropriate state licensure. Eligibility to obtain
DEA/BNDD.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients. Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
