The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and medicine, with a passion for improving the health and well-being of pets. This role involves diagnosing and treating cat and dogl health issues, providing preventive care, and educating pet owners about proper pet care practices. We would like to hire as soon as possible but will wait for the right person. Duties Conduct examinations of animals to assess their health status. Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and infections in animals. Perform surgical procedures as needed, ensuring the highest standards of aseptic technique. Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed. Provide guidance to pet owners on nutrition, behavior, and general pet care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure quality care. Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school. Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of SC. Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and veterinary terminology. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with pet owners and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
