PLAY Academy only hires local coaches. Candidates must live in the area to be considered. Tennis Teaching Certification through USPTA or PTR is required.
Job Description:
As a Tennis Instructor, you will be responsible for leading group classes and private lessons for participants of diverse ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for someone with a profound passion for tennis and pickleball, exceptional communication skills, and the capability to motivate and inspire players to enhance their game.
Responsibilities:
Conduct group and individual tennis instruction sessions. Develop and implement lesson plans suitable for players of all skill levels. Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to players. Manage equipment and facilities, ensuring their proper use and maintenance. Foster a safe, positive, and productive environment for all players. Engage with the community and promote the sports of tennis and pickleball.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a tennis instructor. Deep understanding of the rules, strategies, and techniques of both sports. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate players of all skill levels. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Compensation:
