Tennis Professional The Tennis Connection 1221 Natures Way Boulevard, Valrico, FL 33596 Tennis Professional Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Tennis Professional to join our team. This role involves teaching tennis to students of all ages and skill levels, Mostly kids ages 5-14 years in a summer tennis camp environment. Fostering a love for the sport while developing their skills in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching, particularly in tennis, and have experience working with students in various capacities. Responsibilities Conduct group tennis lessons for students ages 5-14 years, beginning levels. Develop tailored training programs to meet the needs of each student. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Promote a positive learning environment that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship. Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons and events. Maintain equipment and facilities in good condition. Qualifications Proven experience in sports coaching, specifically in tennis. Background in working with students or children; experience in childcare is a plus. Skills in behavior management to effectively engage with students. Additional skills in other sports such as basketball, martial arts, judo, or cheerleading are highly desirable. Certification as a lifeguard is an advantage but not mandatory.
