The Full – Time, Non-Bargaining, Non-Exempt with an hourly rate of $29.36 $38.82. The individual in this position will work at the Golf Course located at One 7th Avenue North, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460.

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Golf Course Manager (Head Professional) assists the Golf Course Manager with all golf shop activities and outside services operations. This position is responsible for ensuring patrons receive outstanding customer service, which meets or exceeds their expectations. The Head Professional is instrumental in organizing and implementing golf events (tournaments, outings, and leagues), teaching individuals, clinics, and juniors; along with other programs designed to improve the club’s product and services as well as its competitive position in the marketplace.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Oversee and perform daily operations of golf shop tee time reservation system Manage the performance and scheduling of golf shop assistants, outside service staff, and volunteers Ensure correct procedures are followed to open, close, and secure the golf shop and storage facilities Assist with display, stocking, and inventory control of golf shop merchandise Promotion and booking of Corporate Tournaments/Outings Coordination of Ladies Golf Association Events Operation and production of Junior Camps and Leagues Providing Individual and Group lessons Oversee condition and maintenance of golf cart fleet Assist Director of Golf in monitoring and tracking rounds in conjunction with creating golf rates Entering and maintaining Handicap records in GHIN Handicap system Ensure the efficient and timely submission of all required reports 40 Hour work week; including weekends The examples of essential functions as listed in this classification specification are not necessarily descriptive of any one position in the class. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

College degree preferred PGA Associate Level 2 or higher, Class A preferred Minimum 2 years as PGA Associate Operation of Golf Genius, GHIN handicap system Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple tasking duties

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit or stand for long period of time. Work involves operation of computer equipment for extended periods. Requires the physical capacity of working for extended period of time with exposure to diverse environmental situations and adverse weather conditions. Work requires physical capacity of light to moderate lifting (up to 40 pounds). All full-time employees are considered critical in response to emergency situations and may be deemed essential as needed depending on the situation. Employees in this position will be required to complete the FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) Certification Levels 100, 200, 700 and 800 within the first six months of employment. Certain positions may be required to attain additional ICS training as needed.
