OVERVIEW

Job Duties ℜsponsibilities Builds student base by creating safe environments for allGolfers, provide high quality instruction, and build long lastingrelationships with each student. Talk with clients to identifystrengths and weaknesses of swing / game, get to root of students’lesson goals, and act as Trusted Advisor for each respectivestudent. The Golf Professional will seek out information andopportunities to develop self to become a better teacher. Ensureteaching concepts are directed toward students understanding andadjust teaching style to best facilitate students learning. TheGolf Professional is continuously looking for new and creative waysto build a robust student base, striving to meet and exceed thefinancial and metric goals for the role. The Golf Pro is directly involved in community outreach bypartnering with local organizations to teach, support, and spreadawareness of the Golf Galaxy experience. Our Professionals areleading initiatives within their local community to promote ourservices – Fitting, Lessons, Club Tech, specialized service throughthe variety of departments and how we would like to create lastingrelationships with each Golfer, no matter where their Golf journeymay take them. Golf Professional works collaboratively with Certified Fittersand teammates to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience with eachstudent. That may come in the form of interacting with Fitters /Golfers during Fittings, offering suggestions or advice on lessonplans to improve swing / game, sharing knowledge, experience andexpertise with fellow teammates and Golfers.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent 1-3 years experience Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in goodstanding 3+ years knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/orOEM training PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing,Apprentice Level 1,2,3 or interested in becoming a
