The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking a racquet professional to apply for our Head Racquets Professional opening. We currently have seven (7) clay tennis courts, five (5) state-of-the-art pickleball courts, and a full-service pro shop. We offer fantastic benefits and rewards, including lunch daily while at work. Summary of Duties:

The Head Professional will lead and supervise the pickleball and tennis programming, activities, and court maintenance of our member-owned club and community. Our tennis program is steeped in history and runs at an extremely high level. We are looking for a new head pro that will be an integral part of the growth of our entire racquets program. The Head Professional will manage our day-to-day operations, instructional, recreational and competitive programs and establish leagues for racquets. This position requires various days and shifts, and can also include some nights and weekends. US Citizens or a candidate with a working visa only. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Ensure a safe environment for employees, pickleball and tennis players. Must be able to administer and enforce policies. Teach lessons and clinics; officiate league play. Run socials, match play, tournaments, and mixers, etc. Manage and lead the program with an important level of ownership, positivity, customer service and people skills. Partner with Marketing team to develop member communications and event materials. Solicit member participation and lead member communications while building the program. Collaborate closely with the Director of Racquets and other professionals as needed in support of the group. Other duties as assigned. Professional Requirements Minimum three (3) years of experience teaching tennis or pickleball. 4.5 USTA rating or higher.
