Job Summary
Albany State University is seeking experienced and passionate coaches to work at its Prospect Camp. The Prospect Camp Coach will be responsible for providing high-level instruction, evaluating prospective student-athletes, and creating a competitive and positive learning environment. This position requires knowledge of the sport, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop athletes.
Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities
Camp Coach – Volunteer
Responsibilities
Instruct and demonstrate fundamental and advanced techniques related to the sport.
Assist in the organization and execution of drills, scrimmages, and skill development sessions.
Evaluate and provide constructive feedback to camp participants.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by enforcing camp rules and maintaining a structured environment.
Serve as a mentor and positive role model for aspiring student-athletes.
Work collaboratively with other camp coaches and staff to ensure a successful camp experience.
Represent Albany State University and its athletic program professionally.
Qualifications
Previous coaching or playing experience at the collegiate, high school, or club level.
A passion for developing and mentoring young athletes.
