The Contribution You’ll bring to this

Role:

The Boxer is responsible for safely completing the daily activities needed to meet customer specific requirements. This includes inspecting product quality, assembling boxes, and packaging products to be shipped to our customers.

In this role, you will report directly to the Shipping Supervisor, setting the stage for your career to soar! This role is your gateway to opportunities for advancement, with the potential to grow within the organization in 3-5 years as you make meaningful contributions to our organizational goals.

Team:

As a member of our Boxer Team, you’ll play a crucial role in the boxing of finished goods. With a strong focus on safety and reliability, the Boxer Team collaborates closely with other departments. Their expertise and commitment to excellence reflect Justrite Safety Group’s values, ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You’ll Do at

Justrite:

Must be knowledgeable of all Moselle products to ensure quality and packaging specs meet all specified requirements.

Strive for daily production rate goal based on an hourly basis, set by the Packaging Tech, Warehouse Lead, or Management.

Stack boxes on boxing machine for appropriate mat.

Operate machinery to lift and open boxes.

Roll mats and place into boxes. Staple boxes and send down the assembly line.

Print out labels and label boxes for stock and customer orders according to specs.

Stack boxes on skids in correct pattern based on specific requirements.

Operate hoist to box rolls of applicable materials.

Perform visual inspection of products.

Perform inventory control duties.

Participate in scanned physical inventories as needed.

Back up shipping when needed.

Assist in maintaining department in accordance with good housekeeping practices.

Observe all safety and environmental procedures.

Perform other duties as requested by supervision.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:

Ability to read, write and perform basic math.

Must have the ability to focus attention on detail.

Must be motivated, organized, and have the ability to coordinate multi and changing priorities while ensuring accuracy and quality.

Must be able to lift average weight materials continuously (between 5 and 70) pounds.

Compensation:

The compensation for this position will include an hourly rate of $16.00 and is paid on a bi-weekly basis. In addition, there is a Hourly Production Bonus Plan that is designed to support Key Performance Indicators of your location and business unit.
