  • 9 MinMidMax $62,442$78,042$93,642 Role Summary Administers the operation and conduct of Student Athlete Development and provides operational oversight to performance centers.

This position oversees career development, professional employment services, and programming for student-athletes. The incumbent will direct day to day operations; develop and implements career and leadership development programming; and provide supervision and guidance to support staff. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating and maintaining the overall efficiency of social responsibility and engagement operations. Examples of Work Performed

  • Oversees, develops and implements career development programs for student-athletes including the identification of career placement and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Manages and facilitates workshops and programming in alignment with career development best practices to enhance student-athlete employability.
  • Identifies opportunities and coordinates experiential learning prospects.
  • Establishes and cultivates relationships with community partners and industry leaders to improve and expand professional opportunities for student-athletes.
  • Creates and maintains employer contact database.
  • Manages payment processing for revenue share compensation and distribution.
  • Engages campus partners for student-athlete programming.
  • Provides weekly event updates to designated coaches.
  • Oversees departmental charitable donation process.
  • Develops and manages policies regarding compliance and management of on-campus Athletics camps.
  • Manages approval of staff to work camps and payments for camp staff and student-athletes.
  • Assists with assigned human resources related activities for the athletics department.
  • Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department, University, Southeastern Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Essential Functions These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department. 1. Provides oversight of day to day operations and implements strategic plans for Student Athlete Development. 2. Serves as primary liaison to academic units, colleges and other stakeholders, providing information regarding athlete development. 3. Oversees evaluation of student athlete academic records to determine degree progress and maintenance of eligibility. 4. Plans and directs operational functions and coaches staff.
