Job Description

Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning Fellow Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting with coaching Olympic Sport teams in their respective strength and conditioning sessions.
  • Helping conduct any testing performed with the student-athletes.
  • General maintenance of the Olympic Sports Weight room.
  • Taking part in a hands-on fellow curriculum to help prepare for future positions in the field of strength and conditioning.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Either SCCC or CSCS certification(s)
Preferred Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree
  • Prior experience in collegiate strength and conditioning
Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professionalism in dealing with coaches and student-athletes.
  • Working knowledge of computers and technology is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to critically assess, utilize, and troubleshoot various forms of weight room technology.
