Responsibilities:

• Prepare biscuit dough according to recipes and production guidelines
• Roll out and cut biscuit dough using knives or other tools
• Bake biscuits in ovens, ensuring they are cooked to perfection
• Decorate biscuits with icing or other toppings as required
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as necessary
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient production flow
• Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or bakery setting
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent knife skills for cutting dough and shaping biscuits
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in cake decorating or other culinary techniques
