Baker-Donut Shop Daylight Donuts at the Ridge 1020 Slack Street, Pea Ridge, AR 72751

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Baker to join our team at Daylight Donuts at the Ridge. As an baker, you will play a key role in preparing fresh, delicious donuts and other baked goods for our customers. While no prior donut-making experience is required, we prefer candidates with a knack for decorating baked goods. We will provide on-the-job training to help you master the art of donut making!

Hours:

4 PM – 12:00

AM Pay Structure:

Compensation is based on a graduated scale, increasing with tenure and performance milestones. Start at lowest for training period. $2/hour increase after 1st month.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake donuts and other pastries according to shop recipes and standards. Decorate donuts with icing, glazes, and toppings to create visually appealing treats. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper cleaning of tools and equipment. Monitor inventory and assist with restocking supplies as needed. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Work mostly independently in the evenings. Ensure that special orders are checked and filled to order.

Qualifications:

No prior experience making donuts is required – we provide training!

Preferred:

Experience with decorating baked goods, including icing techniques and artistic design. Ability to work evening hours (4 PM – Midnight or later as long as bake is complete by 5am) reliably and consistently. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality products. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the team. Basic math skills. Be able to double a recipe or cut it in half. Weigh items on a scale.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds. Comfortable working in a warm, kitchen environment. Ability to squat and bend. Why Work With Us?
