Dough/Waffle Maker Water Street Waffle Company 133 Bank Street, New London, CT 06320 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dough/Waffle Maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and a strong understanding of baking techniques. As a Dough/Waffle Maker, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dough for our signature Belgium Waffles, ensuring that all products meet our standards for taste and presentation. You will also be required to work our waffle makers and produce waffles through out the day as needed. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This Position is bakers hours. Responsibilities Prepare and mix ingredients to create dough according to established recipes. Operate baking equipment and tools safely and effectively. Monitor dough consistency and adjust ingredients as necessary. Package finished products for sale while ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Assist other culinary tasks as needed. Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries about products. Qualifications Experience in food production or baking preferred. Knowledge of food safety and handling practices is essential. Ability to operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and knives. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction. A culinary background or relevant training is a plus but not required. Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing demands in the kitchen.
