Job description:

We are searching for an experienced an experienced Lamination Baker to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breakfast pastries and breads, focusing on croissants, with the opportunity to expand to cakes, tarts savory treats. Duties Prepare and bake a range of laminated treats, focused on croissants Work with a team to develop new sweet and savory treats, seasonal menus, and catering menus Uphold the highest food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow Contribute to a warm and inclusive environment for our team and customers Qualifications Previous experience working in a bakery or in a pastry setting is required Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, including dough preparation and baking methods is required Experience with lamination is required An artistic eye for pastry decorating a plus Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Food Manager’s Certificate is required Experience working in catering or high-volume production is a plus Culinary training or degree is preferred but not required If you are enthusiastic about creating delightful pastries and have the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents!
