Full Time Baker $15-$17 per hour Junk Food Bakery Full Time Baker (32-40 hours) Junk Food Bakery is an inclusive bakery with a full coffee bar, custom cakes and scratch-made baked goods that remind you of a good time. We can’t wait to add you to our team!

Pay:

$15-$17 per hour (DOE)

Baker Responsibilities:

Bakes and ensures fresh, quality product on time, daily. Prepares, produces, and bakes batters, doughs, frostings and syrups. Helps customers as needed with orders, questions or service. Decorates baked goods using assorted pastry bags. Ability to make and prepare coffee/drink menu – willing to train the right person. Ensures orders are done on time. Weighs/measures ingredients correctly with a scale and or measuring cups. Knowledge of weight conversions is a plus. Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration. Keeps waste to a minimum by utilizing proper quantities and rotating product. Utilizes any and all leftovers into usable product. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours. Cleans, breaks down, and puts away all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.

Baker Qualifications/Skills:

Ability to safely and effectively operate standard foodservice equipment like ovens, cook tops, and mixers. Extended knowledge in food safety (EX- Food Handlers Certification) Maintain a positive, friendly attitude. Ability to work well with others and follow direction.

Self-motivated Reliable Multi-tasker Requirements:

Minimum (1) year of baking experience (If you do not have 1 year of baking experience in a professional kitchen, do not apply at this time) Maintains current Food Handler Permit or is willing to get one within 30 days of hire. Reliable transportation
