Baker Maple and Cream 375 North University Drive, Plantation, FL 33324 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked items, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. The job will also require you to help the prep team at Maple and Cream. Especially in the preparation of batters and sauces used by the kitchen during service. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cinnamon rolls, quick breads and other baked goods according to established recipes as well as creating new recipes. Helping the prep team accomplish their lists. Ensure all food preparation meets safety and quality standards by adhering to food safety regulations. Measure and mix ingredients accurately to create consistent products. Decorate baked goods as required, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist with ordering when necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient production flow during peak hours. Skills Strong culinary skills with experience in baking and food preparation. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both baking processes and kitchen cleanliness. Ability to follow recipes accurately while being open to experimenting with new ideas.
