Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery items, including breads, pastries, and cakes. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Help with cake decorating and presentation to ensure products are visually appealing. Support inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions about products. Follow recipes and instructions from senior bakers to ensure consistency in product quality. Participate in food handling practices that comply with health regulations. Skills Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic cooking skills with an eagerness to learn more about baking techniques. Familiarity with cake decorating is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for pastry arts and a willingness to grow within the bakery field.
