Duties Decorate cakes using various techniques, including piping Collaborate with customers to design custom cakes for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. Prepare fillings, and frostings according to established recipes. Ensure all food production areas are clean and organized, adhering to food safety standards. Package finished products attractively for display or delivery. Maintain inventory of decorating supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed within the kitchen team. Stay updated on cake decorating trends and techniques to continually enhance skills. Requirements Proven experience in cake decorating or a related culinary field is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Proficiency in various cake decorating techniques and tools (e.g., knives, piping bags). Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and customers. A creative mindset with an eye for detail in both design and presentation. Previous experience in food production or catering is a plus. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.
