We are seeking an experienced Bagel Baker to join our team. We are also willing to train the right candidate. As a Bagel Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bagels while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. Your duties will include mixing ingredients, shaping dough, boiling and baking bagels, and ensuring that the kitchen and baking equipment are kept clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
Mixing and kneading dough to create bagel dough. Shaping and forming the bagel dough. Boiling the bagels in water. Baking the bagels in a commercial oven. Preparing ingredients to be used in sandwiches. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including the kitchen and baking equipment. Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends and holidays if needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
