The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met, and contributing to the overall success of our kitchen operations. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, and other desserts. Decorate pastries with artistic flair to enhance presentation. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives. Package baked goods for display or sale while maintaining freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to meet production goals and deadlines. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Skills Proficiency in decorating techniques and pastry preparation. Experience in a restaurant or food production environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of baking methods, ingredients, and equipment usage. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and portioning of ingredients. A passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to baking.
