The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious baked goods that meet our customers’ expectations and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Duties Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and other baked goods according to established recipes. Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards in compliance with food industry regulations. Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they are presented attractively for customers. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of baking ingredients and supplies. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Qualifications Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety practices in the kitchen. Familiarity with various baking tools and equipment, including knives. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy kitchen setting. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
