They may also work with icing, decopacs, and product displays. Responsibilities Take orders : Receive orders online, by phone, or in person Manage inventory : Keep track of cake and icing inventory Prepare icing : Stock decopacs and prepare icing Decorate cakes : Decorate cakes according to design standards Provide customer service : Work with guests and team members Maintain displays : Maintain the freezer and refrigerated showcase Fill orders : Fill customer special orders and make cakes ahead for pickup Follow procedures : Follow sanitation procedures and health and safety regulations Qualifications Ability to stand for long periods of time Experience in a bakery is preferred Ability to read and follow recipes Good organizational skills Demonstrates artistic ability Exhibits excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
