The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding the quality of our services. The Presser will work closely with other team members in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Duties Operate pressing machines and equipment to remove wrinkles from garments and linens. Launder items as needed, ensuring proper cleaning techniques are applied. Inspect garments for stains or damage before pressing and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area, adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding garment care. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of all items, particularly in high-demand periods such as hotel laundry services. Qualifications Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is advantageous. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in garment care. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. A background in hospitality or hotel services is a plus, enhancing understanding of client needs in garment care.
