Studio:

The Lab Assistant works closely with the Customer Experience Coordinator and Waxers in order to help deliver an exceptional experience to every customer. They are responsible for preparing and maintaining the Wax readily available. They prepare warmers with a stipulated amount of wax for each service and make sure wax is handed off to Waxers at the right temperature in a timely manner. They ensure that warmers are properly disinfected after each service. The lab assistants are also responsible for keeping the Studio clean and up to brand standards.

Job Duties:

Arrives 1 hour prior to opening in order to prepare wax for the day Cleans store front, windows, waiting room, reception area, waxing rooms, and bathrooms Dispenses wax at the correct temperature and amount for each waxing service Thoroughly clean wax warmers after each service Work with CEC to have wax prepared for coming appointments Maintains wax supply ready throughout the day by monitoring temperature and consistency Spot checks entire studio throughout day for maintenance standards Maintain supplies throughout studio at optimal levels Restock waxing supply inventory as needed Attend all Studio meeting and training sessions Perform other duties as assigned. Work well with all members of the Studio promoting a positive environment Able and willing to work flexible hours, weekend and holidays Wear a clean, wrinkle free uniform, and wear shoe covers at all times while in the Studio Understands the Uni K Wax Studio concept, products, and procedures Speak and act in a professional manner at all times while in the Studio Maintain hallways, reception area, and waiting area free of disruption Limit cell phone use only to break area

Requirements:

Able to read and interpret the US Standard Measurement system Available to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays
