We’re seeking a full-time Pastry and Bakery Assistant for our Inman Park team. This position is best suited for someone with 1-2 years of hands-on pastry experience (beyond basic baking), who thrives in a fast-paced setting and has the precision and efficiency to consistently produce high-quality goods. Key Responsibilities Follow precise recipes for a variety of baked goods Execute high-volume production of pastries and cookies Slice bread and package items for service and delivery Assist in burger bun production and pastry shaping Participate in our multi-day naturally leavened sourdough process Complete end-of-day cleaning and sanitation procedures Support occasional deliveries as needed Requirements 1-2 years of professional pastry experience required (Not just baking at home. Experience with laminated doughs, cookies, etc.) Experience in high-volume production a strong plus Bread experience, especially naturally leavened sourdough, is a bonus Familiarity with food safety and sanitation best practices Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Availability for evening shifts (until ~8 PM) and weekends is mandatory Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods Why Join The Daily?
