Baking Associate Ambassador Personnel, Inc. Douglasville, GA 30134 Work with our Client, an industry leader in Bakery! The Baking Associate position requires attention to detail as you assemble and decorate various cake products while developing proficiency in accordance with designated specifications. 3 shifts available, pay ranges between $15.50 and $17.50 per hour. Shifts are 5am to 1:30pm, 1 pm to 9:30pm, & 9pm to 5:30am. The Baking Associate performs various job tasks of a repetitive nature in accordance with product type, production, and packaging requirements. Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety and Plant Safety practices, policies, and procedures. Supplies cake product to line and applies controlled ingredient portions of icing, filling, or garnishes with specified tools in accordance with product specifications, pre-determined decorating techniques, and standard speeds. Understands product specification sheet and makes the necessary changes in tools and techniques to finish the specified product with minimal supervision in various stages of assembly. Operates and makes minor adjustments to automatic icing equipment. Operates and makes minor adjustments to automatic packaging equipment. Monitors equipment performance and reports damaged or faulty equipment to the Production Supervisor. Inspects various packaging materials for uniformity before use; completes packaging of various cake products according to specifications, and notifies Production Supervisor of faulty material or other packaging issues. Inspects finished product for uniformity and specification conformance; rejects product out of specification and notifies Production Supervisor. Follows safety procedures at all times as outlined by company policy. Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Must keep work area clean and neat at all times and assist in changeover and/or shutdown clean-up of the line.

Experience & Skills:

High School diploma or equivalent. Must understand basic instructions given in English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform repetitive motions on a regular basis. Ability to work in a fast-paced production line environment using both hands, frequent bending/stooping with occasional walking and lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. Must be able, without restriction, to work more than 40 hours per week and more than 8 hours per day as scheduled and/or when required. Ambassador is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
