MARIES ITALIAN DELI 580
Atlanta Road, Cumming, GA 30040 Maries Italian Deli in Cumming, GA is currently hiring for front of house of the bakery. We are located at 580 Atlanta Rd #34 36. Our ideal candidate should be excellent at customer service, upbeat and out going and have afternoon, evening and weekend availability. Experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required. We will be happy to train you! All you need is a positive attitude and a smile! We are a counter service bakery so you would be waiting on customers from behind the counter, grabbing their bakery items, plating or packaging them to go, and ringing up at the register. You will also be responsible for making espresso drinks (cappuccinos, lattes, etc.). Your duties will also include keeping the bakery dining room clean and the bakery clean and stocked. When we decided to open Marie’s Italian Deli we didn’t know anything about commercial kitchens or running a restaurant. We just knew that we loved good food and wanted to share it with others. I miss the smells of my Nanny’s kitchen. Every Sunday we would all gather at my Grandparents and go to Mass together. Then we would return to a feast of amazing Italian dishes. The sauce bubbling on the stove in big pots with meats like pigs feet, short ribs, chicken (and once I am sure our homing pigions were in there …. Always delicious! I have tried as best I can to imitate the tastes and smells of that small kitchen with the blue and white checked curtains Come by and smell for yourself. We have daily lunch specials and homemade soups, market fresh salads, subs, award winning pizza and always an array of meals and Italian cold cuts to go in the deli case.
