Position Overview:
As a key member of our kitchen team, you’ll help prepare baked goods and assist in gelato production. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who loves working with food, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in doing things the right way.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in mixing and baking brownies, cake crumbles, etc
- Prepare ingredients and follow recipes for gelato base and flavoring
- Operate kitchen equipment (mixers, ovens, batch freezers, etc.) safely and properly
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support the team with general kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a bakery or food production setting is a plus, but not required
- Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
