Store Bakery Associate Ali’s Cookies at Emory 1561 N Decatur Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30307 We are seeking a talented and creative Store Bakery Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking cookies and decorating cakes, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. You will be responsible for creating visually stunning cookies and cakes that meet customer specifications while ensuring the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Design and decorate cakes according to customer orders and specifications. Prepare cookies and cake batter, fillings, and frostings using culinary techniques. Utilize various decorating tools and techniques to create intricate designs. Ensure all cookies and cakes are properly packaged for delivery or display. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with team members to fulfill catering orders and special requests. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers regarding their cake needs. Stay updated on industry trends and new decorating techniques. Skills Experience in the food industry, particularly in baking or pastry arts. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients. Proficiency in using kitchen tools, including knives and decorating equipment. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Creativity in designing unique cake decorations that appeal to customers. Previous experience in catering or culinary arts is a plus.
