As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality breads, pastries, and cakes while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to meet customer specifications. Manage food production processes to maintain quality and freshness. Handle food safely according to health regulations and guidelines. Package finished products for sale or catering orders. Collaborate with the kitchen team to fulfill catering orders and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, including tools and equipment. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management. Skills Proficiency in pastry techniques and cake decorating. Strong food handling skills with knowledge of food safety practices. Experience in food production processes within a bakery or catering environment. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Ability to use kitchen tools effectively, including knives and mixers. Strong attention to detail for precise measurements and presentation. Capability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
