Clothes Presser Tudor’s Cleaners 363 Furys Ferry Road, Augusta, GA 30907 Pay is weekly. A presser is responsible for operating different pressing machines in order to professionally press, iron, steam out and shape clothes as needed to a desired professional and sharp looking presentable appearance. A presser may be required to smooth surfaces, flatten seams, or shape articles, such as garments, drapes, and slipcovers, in dry cleaning establishments, using the following method: Spreads articles to be pressed on buck of machine. Garment Pressers Operate steam, hydraulic, or other pressing machines to remove wrinkles from garments and flatwork items, or to shape, form, or patch articles. They Lower irons, rams, or pressing heads of machines into position over material to be pressed. Summary As a Clothes Presser, you will be essential in ensuring garments are impeccably cleaned and pressed, enhancing customer satisfaction. Reporting to the laundry manager, your core skills in dry cleaning, laundry, and customer service will be vital in delivering high-quality results. Your premium experience in hospitality, particularly within hotel settings, will elevate the service provided to guests. Additionally, your relevant skills in cleaning, basic math, and cash handling will support efficient operations and contribute to a seamless customer experience.
