The ideal candidate will assist in various bakery operations and help ensure the smooth running of the bakery. Responsibilities Support the head baker in preparing and baking a variety of baked goods Assist with cake decorating and pastry production Package bakery items for display and sale Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and work areas Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery orders Skills Experience in food handling within a bakery or kitchen environment Knowledge of cake decorating techniques is a plus Strong customer service skills to interact with bakery customers Basic cooking skills to assist in food production Familiarity with food safety standards and practices in the food industry Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery setting Interest in pastry production and willingness to learn new techniques
