Job Summary:

As a baker for Prickly Pear you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of baked goods and donuts ensuring quality and consistency while maintain a clean and organized workspace. This position will require early morning availability and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Some of the key responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare doughs, batter, and fillings according to recipes.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately.
• Operate baking equipment to safety guidelines and standards including ovens, mixers, etc.
• Bake a variety of items to fill displace cases.
• Ensure baked goods meet quality and presentation standards. Testing for high quality products.
• Work with store manager / assistant store manager to maintain accurate inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
• Follow proper sanitation and hygiene procedures, maintaining an clean workspace and clean operational equipment.
• Time management
• Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
