The store features a premium salad bar and freshly cut fruits and veggies. We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Salad Bar and Fresh Food Prep Associate to join our culinary prep team.

Position Summary:

As a Salad Bar and Fresh Food Prep Associate, you will be responsible for preparing fresh-cut fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients for the salad bar, the fresh cut fruit case, and for made-to-order fruit and vegetable trays. You’ll work in a fast-paced, food-safe environment ensuring that all items are beautifully cut, consistently portioned, and stocked throughout the day. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients and values quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash, peel, cut, and portion fruits, vegetables, and other salad bar items Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep station Monitor freshness and quality of ingredients throughout the day Restock and rotate salad bar items as needed Follow food safety procedures and store standards Communicate with team members and managers to ensure efficient prep and service

Qualifications:

Previous food prep or kitchen experience preferred, especially in a grocery or deli setting, but not required Ability to safely use knives and kitchen equipment Strong attention to detail and presentation Able to stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
