These bakers will execute andunderstand recipes, perform quality checks on ingredients and finishedproducts, use icing, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhanceitem presentation, and process orders from customers. Bakers will greetcustomers, answer questions, clean workstations and equipment, andperform other duties to ensure that customer needs are satisfied, andthe bakery is well-stocked and operating smoothly. To be a successfulBaker, an individual should be efficient and friendly with a focus onfood quality and customer satisfaction. They should be organized,decisive, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of bakingtechniques.

Baker Job Responsibilities:

Reading and understand recipes.

Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heatsources, and other equipment to make cookies. Decorating and displayingfinished product Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure thateach item meets food safety and quality controls Greeting customers,answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders andpayment, and providing exceptional customer service Keeping recordsrelating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels Taking clientinformation and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and ontime Cleaning and restocking workstation and ensuring that all equipmentis sanitized and prepared for the next shift
