Our Kennebunk location has been serving customers for five years, establishing itself as a beloved local destination. Ogunquit, which has now been open for two years, also captures the essence of our café’s charm. At Mornings in Paris, we proudly serve our loyal year-round customers while also welcoming seasonal tourists during the vibrant summer months and the festive Christmas Prelude season. Key Responsibilities
- Baking and Production o Prepare and bake items according to orders received from each location. o Closely follow all baking guidelines and expectations. o Accurately maintain and monitor consistent quality in all baked goods. o Utilize time management skills to comply with the baking schedule.
- Food Safety and Hygiene o Ensure that the kitchen and equipment comply with cleanliness standards set by company and federal/state laws. o Maintain up-to-date and valid ServSafe certification. o Monitor food in the café area to ensure proper hygiene and storage practices, maximizing shelf life while ensuring that no items are served beyond their expiration dates.
- Operational Duties o Complete daily inventory list for ingredients and other relevant supplies in a timely manner.
o Actively work with the café manager to find ways to reduce ingredient costs and minimize food waste. o Develop cost pricing for all baked goods produced in-house. o Educate staff about the in-house baked products and provide ingredient lists for the operations manual. o Report any product and or equipment issues to Manager on Duty. You would be a great addition to our team if you:
- Have previous cooking and baking experience.

- Are highly motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines .
- Can work quickly and effectively without compromising quality.
Physical Requirements The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, and the use of hands and fingers for handling and manipulating equipment and materials. The employee must also be able to reach with hands and arms, as well as communicate effectively through talking and listening. Additionally, the role may involve occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
