About Us:
Scratch KC is a wholesale bakery that produces pastries and “grab & go” items for coffee shops, cafes, hotels, casinos, franchises, the new KCI airport, and more. As we continue to grow, we are looking for additional team members who are passionate about baking and bakery production.
Responsibilities & Shifts:
All shifts start at 7:00am (no early mornings! no overnights!) You will help prepare and produce various doughs – laminating croissants, danish, biscuits, scones, pie shells, and more. You will help prepare and produce various batters, fruit compotes, fillings, frostings, and glazes.
Skills:
Must have previous experience working in a professional bakery setting Must have experience with laminating dough and using a sheeter Must have experience using large, professional mixers Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions Time management skills Follow food service and sanitation rules Benefits package available to all full-time employees!
