As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation, while also adhering to food safety regulations. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity to meet customer specifications. Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new recipes and improve existing ones. Maintain cleanliness of the baking area, equipment, and tools used in food production. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers regarding their preferences and special requests. Requirements Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Experience in cake decorating and pastry preparation is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality baked goods.
