PM Compensation:
Hourly (non-exempt) Overview We are looking for a dedicated and Experienced Baker & Weekend Worker to lead daily operations, maintain high production standards, and consistently deliver high-quality products. This role requires an individual who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage responsibilities and equipment setup independently.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Baker to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality baked goods according to company standards and recipes. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows recipes consistently, and keeps the kitchen clean, organized, and safe.
Key Responsibilities:

Daily Production:
Prepare and bake all menu items according to recipes and production schedules. Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure product quality. Adjust recipes as needed within company guidelines to maintain consistency. ✅
Quality Control:
Inspect all baked goods for appearance, texture, and taste before display or packaging. Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste. Maintain accurate portion sizes and presentation standards. ✅
Sanitation & Safety:
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and tools throughout the shift. Safely handle and store all ingredients and supplies. ✅
Inventory & Supplies:
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Report low stock or equipment issues promptly to management. Help organize storage areas for maximum efficiency. ✅
Teamwork & Communication:
Communicate production needs and timelines clearly with other team members. Assist other staff as needed to ensure smooth operations. Follow instructions from the shift lead and manager, and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications:
Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right person! Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Baking:
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and operate the POS system efficiently. Handle cash and card transactions responsibly, maintain a clean counter area, and ensure excellent customer service throughout the guest experience.
Opening Duties:
Open the store punctually each morning, ensuring all equipment is turned on and functioning correctly.
Production:
Prepare Cinnabon products to company standards with high attention to detail, maintaining consistent quality without direct supervision.
Leadership & Consistency:
Independently manage production schedules and inventory levels to ensure daily requirements are met. Maintain a smooth workflow by adhering to recipes and specifications.
Sanitation & Safety:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following food safety protocols.
Training & Standards:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Profits Greets and engages each Guest, ability to suggestive sell to Guests Demonstrates Attentive, Cheerful and Timely (A.C.T.) standards for service. Provides product samples to all potential Guests. Product Quality Delivers high quality Cinnabon product every time. Maintains and delivers high quality products using the PACE system. Demonstrates knowledge of products and service. Service Uses WOW! Service to enhance the Guests experience. Works with other team members to pro-actively react to the Guests needs. Models and promotes the Cinnabon culture. Housekeeping Maintains bakery cleanliness during shift. Follows the bakery-cleaning schedule. Demonstrates a clean-as-you-go mentality Crew Member 2 Training Able to certify on all crewmember positions. Creates all products to standard. Policies and Procedures Follows procedures outlined in the Training Guide. Follows cash control and security policies outlined in the Brand Manual. Knowledgeable in register discounts and promotions. Maintains safe and healthy workplace conditions for Guests and other crew members. Reports accidents and incidents to bakery management immediately.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to communicate with Guests and co-workers. Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction and make correct change. Ability to process information through the POS register system. Ability to lift up to 35-lb boxes of frozen products. Ability to work in a warm environment (ovens) and react to timers. Ability to climb ladders and bend at the waist to clean equipment. Ability to use hands, arms, shoulders and back to produce rolls for up to 4-hour periods if working in a scratch bakery. Ability to work around industrial-strength cleaners. Ability to weigh and measure baking products. Ability to stand for up to 4 hours without a break.
