Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Bakery Assistant to join our team. The Bakery Assistant will support daily bakery operations, including preparing ingredients, assisting with baking, packaging products, and maintaining cleanliness. This role requires attention to detail, a passion for baked goods, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist bakers in measuring, mixing, and preparing doughs, batters, and fillings. Operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers under supervision. Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality. Decorate and package baked goods for display and customer orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery, including washing dishes, cleaning workstations, and disposing of waste properly. Stock ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation. Assist customers with inquiries and provide friendly service. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is a plus but not required. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
