Description
Prepare and bake a wide variety of goods such as bread, rolls, cookies, pies, cakes, and pastries.
Follow recipes and formulas accurately to ensure product consistency and quality.
Monitor the baking process and adjust oven temperatures and baking times as needed.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen tools and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area, tools, and equipment.
Manage inventory and order baking supplies to ensure stock is maintained.
Decorate and finish baked items as needed (e.g., icing cakes, adding toppings).
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to meet customer needs and special requests.
Innovate and suggest new recipes or seasonal items to enhance the menu.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role.
Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods & lift 50 lbs.
Creativity and attention to detail i product presentation.
Culinary training or certification is a plus. Seeking FT 6am – 2:30pm, rotating weekends
